Keep an eye on all of your appliances for water damage and leaks.

Heavy rain and flooding aren’t the only way your home can receive major water damage. Here are the 5 common household water leak areas.  

Corroded Pipes 

These unfortunately can be the silent killer as you may not see this damage until it’s too late.  Certain piping like Polybutylene can corrode from chlorinated water and cause leaks inside your walls.   

Bathtub and Shower 

Make sure your tub is sealed properly.  If not, mold can start to grow in your bathroom and in your ceilings and drywall.  

Excess water pressure 

Having extreme water pressure can really put a strain on piping and fixings.
